ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo shared a short haircut ahead of his enlistment and offered his final greetings to fans.
Cha Eun-woo will enlist in the Army Training Center today (28th) to begin his military service. Having passed the Army Band, he will undergo basic military training before serving as an active member in the Army Band.
The agency noted, "To prevent safety accidents due to congestion on the day of enlistment, the location and time of Cha Eun-woo's enlistment will be kept confidential, and there will be no separate events. Cha Eun-woo met domestic and international fans through concerts and fan meetings before his enlistment. On the day before enlistment, the 27th, he conducted a YouTube live broadcast, revealing his shaved head for the first time. Despite the short hair that left his scalp visibly exposed, he still showcased his dazzling visuals, earning admiration for being "a face genius."
He said, "I find it amazing. It feels strange when I look in the mirror. Cutting my hair makes it feel real. I think it's the shortest it's been since I was 2 or 3 years old." He added, "It's amazing. A day like this has come for me. I realized for the first time what my head shape looks like."
Regarding his feelings about enlistment, he said, "I don't feel it yet. I'm going to have to go anyway, so I will go enjoyably, handsomely, and healthily. Today, as I pack my things, I start to feel it. An album is coming out, a drama is coming out, and a movie is coming out, so I will come back. I'll go healthily. I can't imagine what it will be like, but I plan to go and enjoy it."
He continued, "Thank you for being with me in my 20s, the first act of my life, and looking back on my time before I leave, I have many complicated feelings. I think I've lived intensely and vigorously. I'm curious and excited to see what I will be like in my 30s when I come back. I think having fun is the number one priority. Let's have fun and do well. Thank you, and I'll take good care of myself and come back in good health and style."
