The group Forestella successfully completed a full concert after two years.
Forestella (Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Jo Min-kyu, Go Woo-rim) held the first performance of their 2025 national tour solo concert 'THE WAVE' at Jangchung Arena in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 26th and 27th.
'THE WAVE' is a full concert that Forestella presented after two years, coinciding with Go Woo-rim's military discharge. Forestella proved their reputation as 'crossover idols' with their incredible live performance and solid synergy while also incorporating dance into their well-made show. Additionally, they enhanced the show with stunning performances by The Page dance team and LJ team, a VCR utilizing the XR project funded by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), and various directorial elements.
That day, Forestella opened the concert with 'White Night' and 'The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun.' Their mystical and enchanting harmony continued on stage with songs such as 'Angel,' 'Scarborough Fair,' 'Son of the Moon,' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' providing a fantastical time that cleansed the eyes and ears.
The unique song selection and stage also heralded the splendid return of Forestella, the 'performance powerhouse.' Forestella premiered the live stage of their recently released new song 'Everything,' filling the venue with a romantic atmosphere. 'HandClap,' which was showcased for the first time during this concert, amplified the exciting energy through Forestella's captivating performance, eliciting applause and cheers simultaneously.
The second part, which started as a production show utilizing sound elements, flowed into a more intense and dynamic mood. Forestella generated explosive responses on stage starting with 'UTOPIA,' followed by their self-composed song 'Snow Globe,' and 'Abracadabra,' which gained attention from its performance on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs.'
The reinterpreted classics, such as 'Piano Man,' 'Bad Romance,' 'Shape of You,' and 'Despacito,' provided an unmissable delight for the ears. The encore songs 'Champions' and 'And Spring' showcased the members' overwhelming emotions, leaving a lasting resonance.
Meanwhile, Forestella's national tour solo concert 'THE WAVE' will continue at Busan BEXCO on August 9 and 10, and Daegu EXCO on 23 and 24.
