Singer Whee In is joining the agency With Us Entertainment.
On the 25th, With Us Entertainment announced that they have signed an exclusive contract with Whee In. The company noted, "We respect Whee In's captivating vocals and outstanding musicality and will spare no effort in providing comprehensive support for her to maximize her potential as a solo artist."
Whee In left her previous agency The Live when her exclusive contract ended in August last year. She reportedly did not immediately decide on her next agency and has been negotiating with several companies for about a year. With Us stated, "We will do our best to ensure Whee In can be active as both a solo artist and a member of Mamamoo."
Whee In officially debuted in 2014 as a member of the girl group Mamamoo. She released a solo album, "Magnolia," in 2018. The title track, "Easy," ranked first on music charts at the time of its release. Last year, she conducted 20 performances for her debut solo world tour across 18 cities worldwide.
With Us is home to the fifth-generation boy idol group The Wind. Recently, they signed exclusive contracts with Apink members Park Cho Rong, Yoon Bo Mi, Kim Nam Joo, and Oh Ha Young.
