Actors Jo Jung-suk and Yoon Kyung-ho revealed the reality of the entertainment world social club 'Palgongsan'.
On the 23rd, the YouTube channel 'Channel 15ya' released an edited version of a YouTube live session hosted by producer Na Young-seok along with Jo Jung-suk and Yoon Kyung-ho.
On that day, producer Na Young-seok asked Jo Jung-suk and Yoon Kyung-ho about their social club 'Palgongsan'. Jo Jung-suk stated, "It's a gathering of people born in 1980, so we are peers and have the same profession, so I thought it would be nice to get to know each other better."
He continued, "Before we even met, we created a group chat. I was talking personally with actor Park Ji-hwan, and we were discussing things like 'Shall we cross the river?' even though we hadn't met yet, and decided to set up the chat room first." Yoon Kyung-ho added, "Jo Jung-suk took the lead. For a year, we were cyber friends," which elicited laughter.
Members of 'Palgongsan' include Jo Jung-suk, Yoon Kyung-ho, and actors Park Ji-hwan, Kim Dae-myung, Jin Goo, Kim Nam-gil, Yang Jun-mo, and Kim Sung-kyun. Producer Na Young-seok expressed curiosity, saying, "It doesn’t feel like mixing completely, aside from the fact that we are the same age."
Jo Jung-suk expressed regret, stating, "I was unable to attend the only offline meeting." Yoon Kyung-ho lamented, "He created it but couldn’t come," and Jo Jung-suk explained, "My appendix burst." He even sent selfies to friends who didn't believe him, showing him with an IV.
Yoon Kyung-ho remarked, "After waiting a year to meet, I was excited but it felt awkward. I wished Jo Jung-suk could have come, but since he said he couldn’t, it was a huge loss for the group of eight. But he was really sick."
Jo Jung-suk revealed, "Honestly, I was really sick, but we did a video call. Each of us checked in individually." Yoon Kyung-ho commented, "And then we said, 'Take care of yourself' and just hung out together," which drew laughter.
Jo Jung-suk even calculated the expenses together. Yoon Kyung-ho shared, "There we were saying, 'I’ll pay for it,' and even when buying a pack of gum, we decided to split it evenly. Then, as we went to karaoke, we discussed whether to send snacks to Jo Jung-suk, but it was just sent along with the split costs," which made everyone burst into laughter.
Jo Jung-suk stated, "The costs piled up, and later on, it wasn’t even funny. After the laparoscopic surgery, I was weak." Yoon Kyung-ho added, "He meticulously sent everything, and later, he texted a long message saying, 'I really wanted to have fun with everyone, but I'm sorry. I’ll definitely attend next time,'" which touched him. Jo Jung-suk chimed in, "I felt that I absolutely had to go," adding to the amusement.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung-suk and Yoon Kyung-ho also appeared together in the new movie 'My Daughter is a Zombie.' 'My Daughter is a Zombie' tells the story of a doting father who embarks on secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last remaining zombie in the world. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on the 30th.
