Actress Uhm Jung-hwa has attempted to transform herself for a role.
On the 18th, the channel 'Studio Genie' posted a video titled 'Making of My Troublesome Star Script Reading | The Stellar Acting Tiki-Taka of My Troublesome Actors.'
The video features the script reading scene for the Genie TV original drama 'My Troublesome Star,' which will premiere on August 18th (Monday).
Uhm Jung-hwa said she has made many transformations for her role as 'Bong Cheong-ja,' a top star whose career has been abruptly cut short for 25 years. She explained, "I gained a lot of weight and changed my hairstyle a lot. I think it will be fun to see those changes."
After the script reading, Uhm Jung-hwa said, "So many actors that I really like came. The reading was very vivid and enjoyable. It was a reading filled with laughter," raising her expectations.
