The 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards took place on the afternoon of the 18th at PARADISE City in Incheon and was broadcast live on KBS2. The Best Actor award was won by Ju Jihoon for his role in the Netflix series "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call."
On that day, Ju Jihoon started by saying, "I appreciate everyone who loves Korean content." He happily laughed, saying, "I was laughing so much because of Mr. Kim Wonhoon's previous performance that my head went blank," and he sincerely conveyed his thoughts: "It's not easy to adapt a comic original into a visual format. Ju Jihoon played the role of genius surgeon Baek Kang-hyuk in "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," adding a meticulous realism to its fantasy setting, leaving a strong impression. His multidimensional performance, characterized by immersive surgical scenes, stunning action, and emotional density, earned praise as "the embodiment of Baek Kang-hyuk," maximizing the character's realism while providing thrilling satisfaction and breathtaking tension to viewers throughout the series.
Thanks to Ju Jihoon's performance, "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" maintained its top position in the domestic Netflix TOP10 series sector for a long time, and also ranked first in the global non-English TV show sector, establishing itself as a historic hit on Netflix.
