MBC special series 'Casino' (Disney+ original series │ Directed and written by Kang Yoon-seong │ Produced by APMC Media, CJES Entertainment, and BA Entertainment) is generating excitement today by leaving Manila, where it achieved great success, and revealing the new journey of Cha Mu-sik (played by Choi Min-sik) as he embarks on the second round in Calidiz, along with the full-fledged appearance of Korean desk officer Son Suk-ku (played by Son Suk-ku).
'Casino' is a crime action drama depicting the intense psychological battle between 'Cha Mu-sik', who throws his last gamble after his downfall, and Korean desk detective 'Son Suk-ku' (played by Son Suk-ku), who persistently tracks him down. Upon its debut, it quickly claimed the top spot in viewership ratings and has been gaining viewer support amid a rising trend in ratings.
In the preview video released today, Cha Mu-sik is shown building close relationships with political figures, and after achieving great success by earning 70 billion won in 10 years of operating a casino in Manila, he moves the stage to Calidiz with a focus on obtaining the rights to operate the hotel casino.
Visiting the largest hotel in Calidiz, 'Bolton', Cha Mu-sik declares, "I will place a bid for (operating the casino) at this hotel." When the other party intervenes, saying, "You can’t do that," he responds, "If I want to do it, I will do it. Do I have to get permission from you?" displaying his unique charisma and confidence.
Meanwhile, Yang Jeong-pal (played by Lee Dong-hwi) develops feelings for Kim So-jung (played by Son Eun-seo), who works at the Casabi hotel, and actively pursues her by deliberately getting caught in the rain to find her. Following this, a kiss scene between the two is revealed, suggesting progress in their relationship, while So-jung also shows a strange atmosphere with agent Philip (played by Lee Hae-woo), whom she works with, hinting at a love triangle.
At the end of the preview, the other key figure in the drama 'Casino', Korean desk officer Son Suk-ku, makes his first appearance.
