Actress Emma Watson has ultimately received a license suspension due to speeding.
According to reports from foreign media including BBC on the 16th (local time), Emma Watson was caught driving at 38 miles per hour (about 61 km) in a 30 miles per hour (about 48 km) zone in Oxford, England, on July 31 of last year. Consequently, the court issued Emma Watson a six-month driving ban.
This action was not solely for simple speeding. Reports indicated that Emma Watson already had accumulated 9 penalty points, and due to this speeding incident, she could not avoid the severe punishment of a license suspension. However, Emma Watson did not attend the trial held that day and did not disclose any relevant stance.
Emma Watson debuted in 2001 with the film "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," playing the role of Hermione Granger, and gained worldwide love. Since then, she has broadened her acting spectrum through diverse works including the "Harry Potter" series as well as the films "Beauty and the Beast" and "Little Women."
