On the 18th, at KBS2TV's ‘4th Blue Dragon Series Awards,’ major institutional sectors such as Best New Actor, Best New Actress, and Best Supporting Actor were announced.
First, the Best New Actor award went to Choo Young-Woo for his role in The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. Choo Young-Woo expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful just to be here, and I'm grateful for getting to live as Yang Jae Won. I also want to thank my fans for loving me and allowing me to live as the actor Choo Young-Woo."
The Best New Actress award went to Kim Min Ha for Way Back Love. Kim Min Ha said, "This has truly been a year filled with blessings," adding, "I miss my sister Yoo Jung, who is in heaven. From now on, I want to slowly tell my stories with sincerity, at my own pace."
During the Best Supporting Actor category, there was tension as the nomination for When Life Gives You Tangerines' Choi Dae Hoon fell through, and the winner was Lee Kwang Soo from Karma. He said, "I wasn't even expecting this, so I'm very thankful," and added, "Actually, Doh Kyung Soo told me he had a dream about getting an infection while getting a hair transplant and dying, so I cursed and hung up the phone... Turns out it was a good dream. Thank you, Doh Kyung Soo," sharing a humorous backstory that made the venue burst into laughter.
In closing, Lee Kwang Soo expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank my loving family." The heartfelt moments from the winners completed yet another drama-like night.
