The past romantic history of actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been revealed. From Brad Pitt to Ben Affleck, she reminisced about her glamorous past relationships.
Page Six reported on the 16th (local time) that Gwyneth Paltrow, while dating Brad Pitt, had fallen for another Hollywood top star, citing excerpts from the new book 'Gwyneth: The Biography' by biographer Amy Odell.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt began dating in 1994 and were noted as Hollywood's 'hot' couple. However, at the time, Paltrow had doubts about her relationship with Pitt and was reportedly developing feelings for Hugh Grant.
According to Amy Odell's book, Paltrow, during the filming of 'Emma,' expressed doubts to a staff member about whether Pitt was the right person for her and admitted to having feelings for Hugh Grant. Paltrow had previously stated in an interview about her relationship with Pitt that 'we came from very different backgrounds.'
Paltrow was also emotionally distressed over her relationship issues with Pitt and reportedly sought counsel several times from a friend who was a makeup artist. According to the book, the friend advised Paltrow that 'Pitt wanted to be with her but seemed threatened by her success and the attention she was receiving. This relationship needs to end.'
Ultimately, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt broke up in 1997, although they did not clarify the reasons.
However, the book mentions, 'Two acquaintances recalled hearing rumors that Paltrow's affair with co-star John Hannah during the filming of 'Sliding Doors' was the reason for her breakup with Pitt.'
Paltrow appeared on The Howard Stern Show in 2015 and said about her breakup with Pitt, 'I wasn't ready, and he was too good of a person for me.' After her breakup with Pitt, Paltrow dated Ben Affleck for a little over a year.
