Stray Kids has added a new and record-breaking achievement with their solo performance at a large stadium in Frankfurt as part of their new world tour.
Stray Kids held a solo concert at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, on July 15 (local time) as part of their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE''. The anticipation for the concert led countless fans to the stadium, resulting in a sold-out performance, making it the largest K-pop solo concert ever held in Frankfurt and Germany, thus showcasing the group's immense popularity.
Deutsche Bank Park, the venue for the concert, is a large stadium that has hosted major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024, and has seen performances by global artists like Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, and Kendrick Lamar. Stray Kids became the first K-pop and Asian artist to make a solo entry into this venue, setting another record of 'first' through their world tour.
Taking the stage, Stray Kids presented a series of beloved songs, including '소리꾼' and '神메뉴' ('God's Menu'), and heated up the atmosphere with over 30 songs, including title tracks from several albums that topped the Billboard 200 chart, as well as unit songs showcasing the members' musical chemistry. The audience responded to the thrilling live performance with enthusiastic cheers and sing-alongs, completing a special summer festival for Stray Kids and their fandom, known as STAY, with the song 'ITEM'.
As the concert concluded, Stray Kids conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the fans who filled the audience, stating, "It was truly perfect to have a concert made together with STAY, and I received countless emotional moments. Thank you for creating happy memories today."
The group announced their European tour, consisting of eight performances in six regions, following the Frankfurt concert, and is heading to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on July 18 and 19, marking the 'first entry of a K-pop artist'. The tour will continue to Madrid on the 22nd, Paris on the 26th and 27th, and will conclude with the 'largest ever' world tour finale in Rome on the 30th.
