Actress Ahn So-hee introduces her first wine brand 'Shimmer,' which she conceptualized with her deep affection for wine. The wine, set to be officially launched through CU on the 30th, is a premium New Zealand wine infused with Ahn So-hee's delicate taste and sensibility.
Ahn So-hee, known as a 'wine maniac' in her YouTube channel and various interviews, personally visited the Marlborough region of New Zealand for this project, collaborating with local wineries and actively participating in the entire product planning process, from selecting the juice to designing the label.
The winery she chose is 'Summerhouse Winery,' which specializes in Sauvignon Blanc production. The Shimmer wine made from grapes harvested there boasts a luxurious balance with its refreshing acidity infused with herbal notes and flavors of tropical fruits.
The launch products are Shimmer Sauvignon Blanc (white, 29,000 won) and Shimmer Fino (red, 38,000 won). Ahead of the official launch date, pre-order purchases will be available from the 17th to the 23rd via Pocket CU, and reservations can be made through the alcohol pickup service CU BAR.
In particular, the 'Shimmer wine launch event' on July 31 at the LACASA Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, will have Ahn So-hee in attendance to share behind-the-scenes stories about the wine-making process and the story behind Shimmer, providing a special time to enjoy pairing course dishes with the wine.
Ahn So-hee said, "As someone who loves wine, I have always wanted to present a wine under my name, and I am delighted to achieve that wish through 'Shimmer.' I hope many people will enjoy it as much as I did creating it with careful consideration at every step."
