'Brain Academy' Hwang Je-sung bows his head as if he is a criminal under the stock-related quiz.
On the 17th (Thursday) at 10 p.m., Channel A's knowledge-charging quiz show 'Brain Academy' episode 8 will feature financial expert Kim Dong-hwan as the 'Economic Master', who will discuss 'economic knowledge you must know to protect your money' and present quizzes and stories about the economy with the 'Brains'.
That day, Kim Dong-hwan, who ascended to the 'Master Zone', asked, "When was the time of the greatest change in economic history?" and Hwang Je-sung immediately replied, "The Industrial Revolution!" In response, Kim Dong-hwan stated, "That's correct. Then, in 1776, when the Industrial Revolution in England was just beginning, a book emerged that penetrated the secrets of economic growth. What book could it be?" Then, Jun Hyun-moo exclaimed, "The Wealth of Nations!" and recited, "(The author is) Adam Smith! The invisible hand!" sending chills down everyone's spine.
While Jun Hyun-moo showcased his amazing memory with his 'triple strike' skill, Kim Dong-hwan continued the discussion from the 'Industrial Revolution', which was exceedingly vibrant, to the 'Great Depression' in America. He noted, "The U.S. stock index rose sixfold. Countless people flocked to the securities market to buy stocks, and in such times, many people invest using borrowed money," calling Hwang Je-sung softly.
Earlier, Hwang Je-sung had gained attention for sharing his experience of stocks plummeting, leading to a divorce crisis with his wife. In response, Hwang Je-sung bowed his head, while Jun Hyun-moo comforted him, saying, "You know because you've been through it." Conversely, later, while solving the quiz, Jun Hyun-moo exposed Ha Seok-jin by saying, "You have a lot of alcohol stock, right?~" igniting curiosity, then although everyone exclaimed, "The economic discussion is so fun," and "I’m hearing this for the first time," he alone threw a profit-based investment question, saying, "Should I buy gold?" leaving the scene in uproar.
