"Love, Take Two" Yum Jung-ah and Park Hae-joon re-ignite the excitement of first love.
Set to premiere on August 4 (Monday), the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Love, Take Two" (directed by Yoo Je-won, written by Sung Woo-jin, produced by Studio Dragon and Showrunner) revealed on the 16th a first-love poster previewing the reunion of Lee Ji-an (played by Yum Jung-ah) and her 'first love oppa' Ryu Jeong-seok (played by Park Hae-joon).
"Love, Take Two" depicts the story of a single mom who unexpectedly enters the second act of her life and her medical student daughter, who decide to live for happiness today rather than tomorrow, encountering a story of first love that is not an end but a beginning. Sometimes cheerful and heartwarming, and other times thrilling and touching, this story features moments of laughter, fun, emotion, and empathy. Yoo Je-won, the director known for his warm and delicate direction in works like "Mom's Friend's Son," "Crash Course in Romance," and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," and Sung Woo-jin, a writer with a solid and fresh writing style, are joining forces to complete another healing drama.
Following the release of the 'first, Q&A teaser' that evoked Lee Ji-an's memories of first love, the first-love poster revealed on that day draws attention with an intimate shot of Lee Ji-an awkwardly riding a bicycle while being lovingly supported by Ryu Jeong-seok. The innocent and youthful demeanor reminiscent of a girl or boy from a time long forgotten brings smiles to viewers. Most importantly, the phrase "In a moment I thought was a downhill, first love, like a slip, arrived" creates more curiosity about the reunion between Lee Ji-an and Ryu Jeong-seok, who brought her the first thrill of her life. Having only raced forward, Lee Ji-an meets her first love Ryu Jeong-seok again at the midpoint of the life race, marking a turning point.
Yum Jung-ah plays the role of the strong and assertive single mom 'Lee Ji-an'. She is a site manager who commands a construction site but becomes a doting mom who is endlessly soft towards her daughter Lee Hyori (played by Choi Yoon-ji). Park Hae-joon takes on the role of the prickly architectural designer and Lee Ji-an's first love 'Ryu Jeong-seok'. As a single dad living alone with his son Ryu Bo-hyun (played by Kim Min-kyu), he is aloof and cold but becomes disarmed in front of Lee Ji-an. The combination of Yum Jung-ah and Park Hae-joon, who will deliver performances that fluctuate between humor and excitement, has raised high expectations among drama fans.
The production team of "Love, Take Two" stated, "Everyone has fond memories of 'first love' and sweet memories of first love. Among them, the reunion of Lee Ji-an and Ryu Jeong-seok, which evokes nostalgia for first love, will provide a unique enjoyment after their romance begins."
Meanwhile, the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Love, Take Two" will premiere on August 4 (Monday) at 8:50 p.m.
