DKZ member Jonghyung successfully completed the 30th anniversary performance of the musical 'Love is Riding on the Rain.'
Jonghyung concluded his approximately three-month journey with the last performance of the musical 'Love is Riding on the Rain,' held at Baekam Art Hall in Seoul on the 13th.
'Love is Riding on the Rain' is a representative original musical in Korea that humorously depicts the conflicts and reconciliation experienced by siblings who have lost their parents. Jonghyung played the role of 'Donghyun,' who left his family seven years ago with emotional scars and returned to his brother Dongwook.
In particular, Jonghyung has received praise for creating a rebellious yet delicate and multifaceted character through his subtle acting, reflecting on the true meaning of family. With his solid vocal and acting skills, he filled the 100-minute running time, proving once again the title of 'a rising star in the musical world.'
Jonghyung expressed his thoughts on the conclusion, saying, "It was an honor to be part of 'Love is Riding on the Rain' in its 30th year as Donghyun. I think it has been a time of growth while creating the stage with wonderful directors and seniors. I will work harder to show various aspects of myself in the future. I hope everyone will continue to live with love in their hearts."
In addition to his main activities, Jonghyung has recently shown his presence in several productions, including 'Mary Shelley,' 'Dracula,' 'Equal,' and 'The Secret Garden,' meeting the public, raising expectations for his future performances.
