Singer Onyu shared his thoughts on his comeback.
Onyu held a showcase to celebrate the release of his second full-length album 'PERCENT' on the afternoon of the 15th at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Announcing his comeback roughly six months after the release of his mini album 'CONNECTION' in January, Onyu said, “In fact, I have been continuously active, so it doesn’t really feel real to say I am making a comeback again, but I have been running to show a lot of good things.” He added, “I plan to show gradually what comes to mind through action, so I ask for your continued interest.”
Onyu's new release 'PERCENT' is an album that captures his own record of being filled and emptying. Onyu fills 100% by forming a complementary relationship with the countless things he encounters while living in the world. The belief that one cannot be complete alone, yet that even imperfect beings are beautiful in themselves is embodied in the album.
Onyu explained about the album, saying, “I wanted to quantify various emotions. Using the theme of percentage, various things happen as we live our lives. I expressed the quantification of such emotions. Sometimes when I'm happy, there can also be a little anxiety, and during hard times, there can be hope that things will be resolved. I tried to express those feelings as I experience them.”
Meanwhile, Onyu's second full-length album 'PERCENT' will be released at 6 p.m. on various music sites.
