On the 17th (Thursday), the MBC program 'Home Alone' (directed by Jeong Dahui, So Inji, Kim Wan-cheol, Heo Jayeon, hereinafter 'Homes') features Park Na-rae departing for Georgia for 'Save Me! Global Village House.'
This episode will showcase 'Save Me! Global Village House,' which looks into the housing prices of various foreign homes. So far, 'Homes' has attracted attention by revealing the housing prices of various listings located around the world, including Australia, the United States, Hong Kong, Mongolia, and Egypt through 'Global Price Check.' This time, they will embark on a global field trip to Georgia, which is known as the birthplace of wine and a destination for month-long stays.
In the studio, Park Na-rae reveals that she has returned from a business trip to Turkey and has been to Georgia, which is nearby, for a global field trip. She expresses, "By the way, my (English) name is 'Georgina,' so please look forward to the fateful encounter between Georgina and Georgia," raising expectations.
Park Na-rae introduces Georgia as the birthplace of wine and a destination for month-long stays. She describes its unique culture, located in Eastern Europe, where European and Western Asian cultures coexist. She also notes that Korea can stay in Georgia without a visa for up to one year and that foreigners can purchase real estate in Georgia, drawing attention.
Planning to live for a week in Georgia, Park Na-rae arrives in the capital, Tbilisi, and begins her stay by renting a two-bedroom house occupied by locals. The neighborhood, where Germans once settled and built homes, is filled with European-style charm, heightening curiosity about the main broadcast.
To check the cost of living in Georgia, Park Na-rae arrives at a nearby grocery store and starts shopping like a local. She is surprised by the low prices of bread and dairy products, finishing her shopping with full hands. Afterward, she enjoys a meal on a beautiful balcony, basking in the sunlight, earning everyone's envy.
Moving to the old town of Georgia, Park Na-rae heads to the Abanotubani hot spring area. She mentions that 'Tbilisi' means a place where warm water comes from, and that a sulfur hot spring district has existed since about the 5th century.
This hot spring is not the concept of a public bath but rather a space where the entire hot spring can be rented, allowing entry for up to six people. After changing into a swimsuit and dipping into the hot water, Park Na-rae is commented upon by Joo Woo-jae, who says, "It looks like a scene from a noir film."
As Park Na-rae enjoys the hot spring, moving between the cold and hot baths, the Homes coordinators exclaim, 'Save me! My eyes,' turning the studio into a sea of laughter.
The Georgia field trip for 'Save Me! Global Village House' will air at 10 p.m. on Thursday, the 17th, on MBC 'Home Alone.'
