On the 15th, Netflix announced that from August 10 to 11, Tim Burton, the director of 'Wednesday' Season 2, and actors Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers will visit Korea to hold a fan event.
'Wednesday' Season 2 is a Netflix series that tells the story of Wednesday Addams returning to Nevermore Academy for the new school term as she confronts an even creepier and stranger mystery surrounding her, while seeking the truth hidden behind it.
'Wednesday' reached the top spot in the Netflix global top 10 TV (English) institutional sector at the time of its Season 1 release, recording over 1.7 billion viewing hours and gaining worldwide popularity.
'Wednesday' Season 2 will hold a fan event on August 10 at the Yeongdeungpo Times Square, marking the first meeting with Korean fans.
The upcoming fan event, conducted under the concept of the 'Nevermore Academy' entrance ceremony, will offer various programs where fans can directly experience the unique world of 'Wednesday', including trying on costumes and props from the series.
Additionally, there will be various programs such as a Q&A interview with director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega, and Emma Myers, as well as quizzes.
The day after the fan event, on August 11, a GV (guest visit), commonly referred to as 'Introduction to Wednesday', will take place at Ewha Womans University.
In this GV, which involves director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega, and Emma Myers, discussions about the work will be moderated by film journalist Lee Eun-sun.
'Wednesday' Season 2 will be released in two parts, with Part 1 set to premiere on August 6.
