Actress Lee Si-young shared the reality of parenting, where she fights with her son every day.
On the 15th, Lee Si-young uploaded a video on her social account, saying, "Suddenly Florida."
The released video features night views of Florida, USA, seen from an airplane. Previously, Lee Si-young announced that she started a month-long stay in the U.S. with her son on the 1st. Meanwhile, this time, she has stopped by Florida for her trip.
However, Lee Si-young stated, "We fight and reconcile every day," reporting the conflicts she faced with her son on the plane. She buried her face in her hands with her head down and reached out her hand towards her son, who was sitting far away, saying, "Come here, I'll hug you," but the son, seemingly upset, turned his back.
After getting off the plane, however, she shared a video of her son singing joyfully and mentioned, "I felt better seeing a rabbit," indicating that their conflict was peacefully resolved.
Meanwhile, Lee Si-young married a businessman, nine years her senior, in 2017 and has a son but divorced in March of this year by mutual agreement. However, the shocking news of Lee Si-young's second pregnancy was reported on the 8th. Although they were preparing for their second child through in vitro fertilization before the divorce, they ended up divorcing without having the embryo implanted, and as the expiration date for the frozen embryo approached around the time their legal relationship was finalized, she decided to proceed with the implantation.
However, this process sparked controversy as she said, "The other party did not agree, but I intend to fully bear the weight of the decision I made." Her ex-husband also expressed through a media interview that although he did not agree to the pregnancy, he would take responsibility now that a child has been conceived. However, voices of concern have been raised as Lee Si-young's case, while not illegal, poses risks for abuse, and she has since deleted the posts mentioning her second pregnancy.
