Actor Byeon Wooseok has been appointed as a member of a major donor group.
On the 14th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced that actor Byeon Wooseok has been appointed as a member of the major donor group "Hope Bridge Honor Society."
"Hope Bridge Honor Society" is a network of individual major donors who have donated more than 100 million won to Hope Bridge, actively participating in national disaster response as a sharing leader club. Byeon Wooseok joined as a full member of the Honor Society by donating 100 million won to Hope Bridge in April for neighbors affected by the large forest fires that occurred in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.
Byeon Wooseok noted, "I am truly grateful to be part of such a meaningful gathering as the Honor Society," and added, "Although it's a small gesture, if it can provide strength and comfort to someone, I would like to be there anytime." He continued, "I want to live a life that shares warm hearts with neighbors in need in the future."
Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon stated, "The contributions of those, like actor Byeon Wooseok, who receive great love from the public, have a significant impact on society," and said, "I expect actor Byeon Wooseok, who is creating warm changes with his positive influence, to bring even more hope to this society as a member of the Honor Society."
Meanwhile, Byeon Wooseok has chosen the MBC drama "21st Century Great Lady" scheduled to air in the first half of 2026 as his next project and is currently filming. He has confirmed his appearance in the upcoming Netflix series "Solo Leveling."
