Currently in the midst of his first solo tour, EXO member Kai (affiliated with SME) has added a performance in Mexico City, thanks to the explosive interest from local fans.
Kai is successfully carrying out the '2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR 'KAION',' recently opening the Mexico City performance on Sept. 9, following shows in five locations in the Americas, including Los Angeles, Grand Prairie, Atlanta, Rosemont, and New York, thereby expanding the tour to 16 regions worldwide.
In particular, Kai, with his unique hot physicality and visuals, as well as his commanding stage presence and expressiveness, has gained global popularity as a 'world-class performer' transcending K-pop generations. Much attention is focused on the diverse stages he will present throughout this tour as he showcases it in North and South America beyond Asia.
So far, starting with a sold-out performance in Seoul in May, Kai has successfully held shows in Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Jakarta, and Singapore, and the performance at Taipei Music Center on the 12th also sold out, confirming his strong ticket power as a solo artist.
After concluding the Taipei performance, Kai remarked, "Today, I could see each and every face of the EXO-L clearly. Their expressions of joy while watching the stage were so cute. Thanks to all of you, I feel happier on stage. I will make sure that you all can always be happy in return."
On that day, fans packed the audience and held a surprise card section event featuring the phrase 'WAIT ON KAI,' succeeding in a group sing-along event for 'Peaches,' providing Kai with a touching moment.
Kai will continue the tour at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila on the 27th.
