Broadcaster Lee Hyun-i could not hide her disappointment after seeing the price of the luxury sandals she wore drop sharply.
Recently, Lee Hyun-i released a video titled "Recommending summer shoes but only boasting about her own shoes" on her YouTube channel. In the video, Lee said, "This is a woven sandal I bought about three years ago, and I really wore it well."
She stressed, "Woven is used here and there, and this is really comfortable and stylish," and added, "However, this is not a shoe you wear at the pool." Lee, who was enthusiastic about showcasing her shoes, revealed, "I bought this for the original price of 1,490,000 won, but when I searched just now, it's 590,000 won," unable to hide her shock.
"Did I buy this and it dropped?" she expressed her frustration, and added, "But it's from last season, and shoes don't go out of style. As long as it's pretty, that's what matters." This brought her some comfort and made her smile.
But it wasn't over. The same was true for another luxury sandal she introduced afterward. When the production team mentioned, "This is currently 700,000 won," Lee reacted, "I paid over a million won for this! Is this not a different model from mine? Is it a knockoff?"
Yet, shortly after, she remarked, "It's pretty. I should go check out the store," adding a resigned tone with her humor.
