HYBE submitted a complaint to the police against Min Hee-jin and the ADOR executives last April, claiming that they captured signs of an attempted takeover of management rights.

HYBE will file a petition with the prosecution today regarding the breach of duty case filed against former representative Min Hee-jin and others last year, which has not been decided on.
Following the police investigation, new situations arose, such as the NewJeans members' contract termination declarations, and numerous new pieces of evidence were also submitted in related trials. The court has judged Min's actions to be very serious. As the court for the provisional injunction appeal (Seoul High Court) determined that Min is 'in a position that intentionally destroys the integrated structure that the exclusive contract is based on,' we wish to contest the decision of no disposition during the petition process.
In addition, the investigation authorities determined that there is no suspicion regarding the case filed by former representative Min Hee-jin against five HYBE executives for obstruction of business and violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation) in July last year. The authorities stated that HYBE's claims were 'hard to see as false information' and 'considering the public interest, the purpose of defamation is not acknowledged,' and that 'the KakaoTalk conversations were deemed to have been obtained lawfully during the audit process.'
Furthermore, we inform you that all of the indiscriminate complaints filed by former representative Min against HYBE and its affiliated employees have also reached a conclusion of no disposition.
