Singer BoA's 25th debut anniversary concert has been canceled due to health issues.
On the 15th, her agency SM Entertainment released an official statement saying, "We would like to inform you that BoA's fifth solo concert has become difficult to proceed due to the artist's health issues."
The agency stated, "BoA recently received a diagnosis of acute bone necrosis requiring surgical treatment from a hospital due to worsening knee pain she has been experiencing, and based on the medical team's recommendation to avoid strenuous physical activities, including dancing performances, and to undergo surgery as soon as possible, she has decided to proceed with the surgery."
As a result, BoA's fifth concert, scheduled for August 30-31, has inevitably been canceled.
The agency requested understanding, noting, "We deeply apologize for causing concern to fans with this sudden news, and as this decision prioritizes the artist's health, we ask for your generous understanding."
Meanwhile, BoA, who debuted in 2000 with her first album "ID;Peace B," is celebrating her 25th debut anniversary this year.
