On that day, the storyteller, a mother raising four siblings, said she had weakened her kidneys through the process of giving birth to her four children via in vitro fertilization and is currently undergoing dialysis as a chronic kidney disease patient. Lee Sugeun deeply empathized, recalling his wife, who is awaiting a kidney transplant after recently undergoing dialysis.
The storyteller said, "It's tough for my husband to support us alone. I want to work, but it's hard to do so because of the dialysis schedule." To this, Seo Jang-hoon advised, "Rather than working, I think taking care of your health and not overexerting yourself is the more helpful path for your family in the long run."
The storyteller said, "My eldest daughter had a dream that she had to give up because of me." The daughter had dreamed of being a pianist but said she gave up her dream due to financial difficulties.
The storyteller said, "I asked her to understand our family's circumstances. I cried for about a month before giving up." The daughter also reddened her eyes.
Seo Jang-hoon advised, "I hope you never think that you gave up your dream because of your mother. There's nothing more important than your mother's health. As you live, there will always be things you want to do. Your dreams will change according to your circumstances."
