Actress Ko So-young shared a delightful episode of 'verbal sparring' with her middle school son.
In the MBN program 'Oh Eun-young Stay' aired on the 14th, Ko So-young candidly discussed her concerns about parenting and shared her daily life with her children who are going through adolescence.
Ko So-young is a mother of a 3rd-year middle school student and a 5th-grade elementary school student. She said, 'These days, kids come home from school and start with words like 'Oh, man.' If I say, 'What kind of attitude is that?' it leads to a fight. So I try to just remain indifferent most of the time.'
She continued, 'They talk well with their friends, but when they face their parents, the first thing that comes out is, 'Oh, why?' At that moment, I end up asking, 'What kind of attitude do you have towards your mom?'
But it doesn't end there. Ko So-young said, 'Then I respond to my son saying, 'Are you in puberty? But I'm in menopause. I'm stronger!' which highlighted her characteristic cool and confident parenting philosophy, making the scene burst with laughter.
In response, Yoo Se-yoon joked, 'You win by age,' gaining everyone's sympathy in the 'menopause vs. puberty war.'
Meanwhile, Ko So-young married actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010 and has one son and one daughter. Her eldest son, Jun-hyuk, is in 3rd year of middle school, and her younger daughter, Yoon-seol, is in 5th grade of elementary school, both experiencing a tumultuous period of adolescence.
