Actor Seo Hyun-woo shared behind-the-scenes details about 'Wall To Wall'.
On the 14th, a production briefing for the Netflix film 'Wall To Wall' was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel. The event was attended by actors Kang Ha-neul, Yeom Hye-ran, Seo Hyun-woo, and director Kim Tae-joon.
The film is a thriller about Woosung (played by Kang Ha-neul), who has succeeded in securing his home through an APT. but is tormented by unidentifiable noise from the upstairs neighbors.
Seo Hyun-woo plays Jin-ho, the upstairs neighbor of Woosung, who searches for the source of the noise. He explained, "When I received the script, I was actually experiencing noise disturbances. I could relate to it so much, and while there are people suffering from noise issues, it is also very difficult to be in a situation where one cannot help but make noise. I found the script relatable in various ways, so I enjoyed reading it, and the character was vibrant and energetic, which I had not yet done before, so I was drawn to it."
He also explained, "On the surface, he seems intimidating, but on the other hand, he is a character that evokes a lot of empathy. He feels a sense of kinship with Woosung and is a passionate individual who feels compassion for him."
In particular, he noted, "Externally, there were a lot of challenges. The director had special requests. I had to embody a physical fighter's body, which isn’t necessarily fashionable or muscular, but rather looks like someone who has been through many hardships."
"I also did a lot of practice for striking action scenes and judo techniques. I approached it differently than I had in the past to give off a physical intimidation factor, whether it was boxing or another form of fighting," he said, generating excitement.
