Broadcaster Jang Seong-kyu has returned after a period of reflection on social media.
On the 14th, Jang Seong-kyu announced on his social media, "I have finished the Instagram reflection period that I inadvertently had and have made a glamorous return~ The first news of my comeback is the opening of the You?Z channel," introducing his new YouTube channel.
Jang Seong-kyu's new YouTube channel is named 'The Outdated Jang Seong-kyu', and he said, "As a first-generation YouTuber, I'll do my best to make it fun, so please like and subscribe. Let's meet every Friday at 6 p.m."
Jang Seong-kyu did not engage in social media activities for about two months, with his last post on May 18. As he returned to social media after a long absence, he stirred expectations for a new beginning.
Previously, Jang Seong-kyu garnered a hot response while granting a long-time appearance on the YouTube channel 'Workman'. However, after May, he officially departed from 'Workman', which he had been with for about six years.
Afterward, he opened the YouTube channel 'The Outdated Jang Seong-kyu' with Go Dong-wan, the first PD of 'Workman', and confessed that he was notified of his departure from 'Workman'.
He said, "'Workman' is a very precious program. I was always ready to step aside for my juniors," but added, "However, I was a bit surprised when I received the sudden notice of departure. Of course, they made a choice for growth, and I respected that." He expressed his feelings, stating, "At that moment, I accepted it calmly, but for two weeks, I kept thinking about it and felt depressed at night."
