The Korea Music Label Industry Association (음레협) operates a Kindi Lounge that will introduce performances capturing the experimental nature and on-site essence of popular music in July. Diverse genres, from electronic music and youth bands to singer-songwriters and hard rock, are ready to welcome audiences.
On July 18 (Friday) at 8 p.m., a performance centered around electronic music titled 'FREE VOLT' will take place at Prism Hall. This stage will feature artists such as Kirara, Netgala, Mount XL, and Whi, who are currently active in the domestic electronic music scene. In particular, Kirara, an electronic musician from Cami Music, has been actively participating in the 2025 DMZ Peace Train Music Festival and Asian Pop Festival, showcasing a vibrant career. 'FREE VOLT' will be a gathering of experimental achievements in electronic music, providing an opportunity to directly experience the expansiveness of electronic music.
On the same day, July 18 (Friday) at 7:30 p.m., a planned performance titled 'Lollygagging Concert #Summer' will be held at Yeongdeungpo Art Hall by the Yeongdeungpo Cultural Foundation. This performance will feature the band Yudabin Band, which belongs to MPMG Music. Yudabin Band is gaining attention with its messages resonating with the youth generation, actively performing at university festivals and various festivals. Recently, they have solidified their position as a next-generation youth band, continuing to sell out their solo concerts.
On July 19 (Saturday) at 6 p.m., a solo concert titled 'Wishes of The Youth' by the singer-songwriter duo Um-yul from Crepe Sound will be held at Daejeon Interplay. Um-yul is currently on a national tour that started with a performance at Nodeul Island Live House last June, continuing through Busan, Daejeon, Chuncheon, and more, engaging with audiences through narratives capturing the spirit of youth and sophisticated song compositions.
On the same day, July 19 (Saturday) at 6 p.m., a club performance series titled 'PULL THE TRIGGER Vol.4,' organized by the rock/metal label No Mercy Company, will take place at Club Freebird in Hongdae. The lineup includes high-energy bands such as Crackberry, Sync to Rise, Codename Titan, Viridian, and Traken. Meanwhile, the Korea Music Label Industry Association, which operates Kindi Lounge, plans to start a small-scale popular music performance support project called 'Lalaralaon' from August. 'Lalaralaon' aims to provide practical performance opportunities for venues and indie artists across the country, promoting both the diversity of popular music and the revitalization of regional music culture. 'Lalaralaon' will involve 150 teams participating in 50 small-scale performance venues nationwide, with the lineup to be unveiled sequentially in the future.
