The newly revealed 'Namsan view newlywed house' by Lee Sang-min has drawn attention again with the fact that it is rented. In particular, reports have resurfaced about the monthly rent of 5.6 million won with no deposit. Interest in his move to his newlywed house is high.
On the 13th, SBS entertainment program 'My Lovely Sam Soon' aired footage of Lee Sang-min moving for the seventh time.
Last week's broadcast saw him garner attention by announcing his marriage while appearing on 'My Lovely Sam Soon' with his wife. He candidly expressed his feelings, saying, "How much are we trying to live well for the rain to be falling on moving day?"
Among them, the newlywed house, which has a stunning view of Namsan in Seoul, was revealed for the first time through the broadcast. The spacious area, pink sofa, couple toothbrushes, and mugs reflected the excitement of newlyweds. Kim Joon-ho and Lim Won-hee visited and exclaimed, "The scent is different. It completely feels like a newlywed house," and they admired, saying it was "much better than the previous house."
However, when asked if it was his own property, Lee Sang-min candidly confessed, "It's not jeonse; it's monthly rent," drawing attention. He added, "We will look for a real newlywed house together with my wife," explaining that "this is a starting house for both of us." Even though it is rental, viewers and the 'Mother Avengers' expressed heartfelt support for Lee Sang-min, who moved into a larger space.
Following the broadcast, past reports concerning Lee Sang-min's housing situation resurfaced. In particular, a previous report indicated that he moved in for 5.6 million won rent without a deposit, surprising many. This is more than double the monthly rent of his previous house in Paju (a deposit of 50 million won, monthly rent of 2 million won).
In response, a representative of Lee Sang-min said cautiously in a phone call with OSEN, "It is not a purchase. It is correct that it is monthly rent, but I understand it's not without a deposit," adding, "The reported 5.6 million won seems to be somewhat exaggerated."
Lee Sang-min has served as a role model for many viewers by settling debts amounting to 6.9 billion won over the past few years. His 'Namsan view newlywed house' has received support regardless of whether it is rented, as he embarks on a new beginning with someone he loves after enduring difficult times.
