Comedian Lee Soo-ji shared her experience of being scammed in a case involving dwellings worth 400 million won.
On the 14th, Lee appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show' segment 'Legendary Master.'
On that day, Park Myung-soo cautiously asked, "I heard you were scammed in a 400 million won dwellings distribution case in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, in 2023. Did you get your money back?"
In response, Lee smiled for a moment and said, "Let's just talk about good things on a good day, why are we discussing this?" Then she added, "I received 0 won. I was too rash," expressing her bitterness.
Lee emphasized, "At that time, I went after watching something on YouTube. Looking back now, I regret it so much. I hope you definitely buy through a certified real estate agent." She continued, "When I went to see the house, there was someone who helped show it around, but they said they had no legal responsibility. I thought that person was a certified real estate agent, but in fact, their spouse was the agent."
Park Myung-soo expressed regret, saying, "Why do you think the country selects certified real estate agents? There is a reason to pay the commission," and Lee confessed, "I had to move quickly, and I was in such a hurry because I had to go have a baby. It’s true that I proceeded recklessly."
Meanwhile, Lee debuted in 2012 as a comedian in the KBS 27th public recruitment. Recently, she revealed in a variety show that she was scammed in a dwellings sale and lost her entire fortune of 400 million won, leading her to live in a rented house.
In particular, she recalled her pain, saying, "Last year, I was so depressed I was even considering whether to see a psychiatrist."
