Actress Kang Seo-ha has passed away after battling cancer, at the age of 31.

On the 14th, a friend of the deceased posted on social media, saying, “Despite enduring so much pain, she was always worried about those around her and my worries. She hadn’t eaten well for months, yet insisted on paying for my meals with her card; she was my angel.”

According to the family, Kang Seo-ha succumbed to stomach cancer on the afternoon of the 13th. It is said her health rapidly deteriorated after the second round of chemotherapy.

The deceased recently completed filming as the lead in the movie ‘Mangnae-in.’

Kang Seo-ha graduated from the Korean National University of Arts and debuted in 2012 with the music video for ‘Far Away’ by the Brave Guys, later taking a significant step into acting through the JTBC drama ‘Schoolgirl Detectives.’

She later made grants in KBS2’s ‘Assembly,’ MBC’s ‘Flower of Prison,’ KBS2’s ‘Love Again,’ ‘Wave, Wave,’ SBS’s ‘Heart Surgeons: Two Lives One Heart,’ and ‘Nobody Knows.’

The mortuary has been set up at room 8 of the Seoul Catholic University Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital funeral hall. The funeral will be held at 7:40 a.m. on the 16th. The burial site is in the family plot in Ham-an, South Gyeongsang Province.
