On the 14th, Seo noted on her social account, "Phew, I guess strange stories are spreading again, please stop the questions! I sold my house and other assets to repay about 1.1 billion won, and I paid the remaining 200 million won by working hard on ads and broadcasts!"
She emphasized, "I only appeared in the Excel broadcast a total of 4 times. I earned exactly 5 million won from those 4 appearances. It's not that much money. So let’s not spread false rumors. Please."
Earlier, Seo revealed her debt situation directly while appearing on the 'Pajama Party' channel. When asked, "Wasn't it 1 billion won that was a hot topic?" she responded, "It's not 1 billion won; to be precise, it’s about 2 billion won. I have repaid about 1.3 billion won. I also organized my assets and repaid them. People around me suggested declaring bankruptcy. It's not my debt. I also have some responsibility, as I borrowed my name, so I have to take full responsibility and repay it."
In particular, Seo previously appeared on Excel broadcasts due to financial difficulties last April. Given the somewhat provocative nature of the platform, there was a negative reaction to Seo’s participation in the Excel broadcasts, leading to her departure from the program after about a month. However, it seems she decided to clarify the unconfirmed rumors related to debt repayment.
Meanwhile, Seo revealed that she divorced director Choi Byeong-gil in March of last year and is currently in a relationship with a 1992-born legal professional through a matchmaking agency.
