Haha left a message on his Instagram story on the 12th, stating, "I am really sincerely sorry, and thank you to those who yelled out. I apologize to the writer who bowed his head, and thank you to the producer. I am sorry and grateful to our MCs."
This is due to the broadcast of MBC's 'Show Music Core'. Haha appeared with Lee Yi-kyung, saying, "A new album has come out after 3 years and 6 months. I didn't want to come out. I thought this wasn't a place for me, but my mother-in-law said this could be my last stage, so I wanted to do well."
Lee Yi-kyung introduced himself as Tukei instead of Young K. Their team name is MP9, which means the district where Haha lives, Mapo. The two completed the stages of their new songs 'Daggdak' and 'Sunny Day' brilliantly and even executed an ending pose like an idol group, generating laughter.
Haha announced his new mini album 'MAPOGU Sheriff' on June 13th. This is the first release since the mini album 'Void' released on December 8, 2021. The album includes 'Kind', 'Mapo Gu Sheriff', 'Daggdak', 'Traffic Light', and 'Sunny Day'.
In particular, 'Sunny Day' features DAY6 member Young K, who also co-wrote and composed the song with Haha.
