Comedian Kim Si-deok confessed to his battle with illness after 18 years.
On the 11th, a video titled 'Kim Young-Chul's junior Kim Si-deok (Mabpagi) latest news first revealed' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Kim Young-Chul Original.'
In the video that day, Kim Si-deok, who revealed his face after a long time, calmly shared, 'In 2006, I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and had to suspend my broadcasting activities.'
He explained, 'It is not a muscle problem but an autoimmune disease. The antibodies trying to eliminate bad bacteria fight each other. Consequently, inflammation occurs, and that inflammation hardens the joints and bones.'
However, fortunately, Kim Si-deok reported that he is now 'completely fine.' Of course, there is no such word as 'complete recovery' with this disease. There is also a possibility of recurrence, so lifelong management is required.
Additionally, Kim Si-deok identified three key factors for his health recovery: sleep, diet, and exercise. He explained, 'Going to bed and waking up on time, eating only good food, and exercising hard. That was everything.'
He noted that searching for the name of the disease on the internet brings up articles stating, 'Kim Si-deok has recovered.' He shared, 'Since you are showing such interest, I also upload related YouTube content.'
