J-Hope will take the stage at 'Lollapalooza' for the first time in three years to wrap up the festival.
J-Hope of BTS will perform as a headliner at 'Lollapalooza Berlin' (Lollapalooza Berlin) on the 14th (Korea time) at around 3 a.m. at the Olympiastadion Berlin in Germany. He will be the final act of the festival, which takes place over two days from the 13th to the 14th, and plans to deliver a performance lasting about 90 minutes.
J-Hope stated through his agency, Big Hit Music, "Three years ago, when I took the stage at 'Lollapalooza Chicago', I was full of a sense of purpose to show something. This time, I want to show a relaxed side while enjoying the festival. I've prepared my best, so please look forward to it."
J-Hope caught the world's attention in July 2022 when he became the first Korean artist to headline the main stage at 'Lollapalooza Chicago'. At that time, he performed 18 songs for about an hour in front of more than 105,000 audience members. International media outlets that witnessed the performance praised it as "a performance that will grace a noteworthy page in the music history books" (Consequence of Sound) and noted that he "not only made history but also proved he is ready for the future" (Chicago Sun-Times), earning him the nickname 'Hobipalooza' (a blend of J-Hope and Lollapalooza).
This year, J-Hope has expanded his musical spectrum through a solo single project, releasing consecutive singles such as 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)', 'MONA LISA', and 'Killin’ It Girl (feat. Glorilla)'. He also successfully completed a world tour titled 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE'' across 16 cities, with a total of 33 shows, solidifying his position as a solo artist. This world tour recorded a cumulative audience of over 524,000. Music fans are eagerly anticipating what this more solidified version of J-Hope will showcase at the 'Lollapalooza Berlin' stage. J-Hope's performance will be available for live viewing on the global superfan platform Weverse and BTS's official YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, the 'Lollapalooza Berlin', celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, will feature J-Hope along with world-renowned artists such as Justin Timberlake and Benson Boone.
