Influencer Park Ji-yeon, who is the wife of comedian Lee Sugeun, shared her current situation ahead of her second kidney transplant surgery. Having suffered from a long-term illness, she expressed her gratitude along with a cautious determination toward recovering her health.
Park Ji-yeon noted on the 13th on her social media, "I am truly grateful for the warm support and prayers sent by many after seeing the article," adding, "If there are no abnormalities in the final examination, I will likely undergo the second kidney transplant around mid-next month."
She continued, "I still feel complicated and cautious, but I will try to prepare well," sharing her feelings ahead of the surgery. Park Ji-yeon mentioned that she is currently taking immunosuppressants and is also organizing a yogurt business that helps with immunity after the surgery.
She said, "I will overcome this with a bright heart like in the photo," maintaining a positive attitude and adding a warm message with the hashtag "#HaveAPrettyDayAgainToday."

Park Ji-yeon underwent her first kidney transplant in 2011 due to damage to her kidneys from pregnancy-induced hypertension. Since then, she has consistently managed her health and is now preparing for a second surgery after being advised for re-transplantation due to declining kidney function. She is reportedly coordinating her surgery schedule after completing the final tests for re-transplantation. The donor is Park Ji-yeon's biological brother, and according to medical explanations, family donations have a higher success rate than general donations due to fewer immune rejection reactions.
