On that day, Lee Soon-sil explained, "Today, the Ministry of Unification is holding an event for North Korean cuisine, and they say they will serve each dish one by one as a course meal. I've never done course dining in North Korea, so I came here to learn." Imokase Kim Mi-ryeong introduced herself by saying, "My nickname was Imokase No. 1 when I participated in the cooking competition," and Lee Soon-sil said, "Should I go for Soon-sil Kase? Afterward, Lee Soon-sil asked, "Can I not see the kitchen first?" Park Myung-soo, who saw this, reprimanded, "Isn't that rude? Why would you look into someone else's kitchen as soon as you arrive?" Lee Soon-sil replied, "You can see the person when looking at the kitchen worker," and Imokase said, "We need preparation," adding, "You cannot enter our kitchen with this hair. However, from the moment Lee Soon-sil entered the store and even after entering the kitchen, she continued to be seen picking at the food, which drew jeers from the panelists. Kim Suk said, "More goes in through her mouth," and eventually, Imokase struck back, saying, "You are cooking, right? It seems like you came to play, not to learn."
In response, Imokase showed how she was chopping ingredients, and Lee Soon-sil countered, "I can do this too. I can see I do it just like you do." Moreover, watching the speed at which food was being plated, Imokase said, "If you do it like this, when will you finish? You need to be faster. I will do everything, so just stay out."
