The girl group TWICE shared their feelings about reaching their 10th anniversary.
On the morning of the 12th, the members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Nayeon, and Sana appeared as guests on the YouTube channel 'Ttuntun' in the segment titled 'Pinggaeko.' They shared their recent updates after meeting the relay host Yoo Jae-suk and television personality Ji Suk-jin to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Jeongyeon said, "Honestly, I can't believe it's been 10 years. We have continuously released albums over the past 10 years, and my 20s have gone by so quickly. I can't believe I am 30 years old. It's hard to accept. It feels like a waste." In fact, TWICE has been continually active, releasing a total of 39 albums, including regular, mini, and repackaged albums, over the past 10 years since their debut.
Jihyo noted, "I still do other things as usual, but I have become more comfortable when coming out on entertainment shows. All of our members don't do well on entertainment shows and feel a lot of pressure." In response, Yoo Jae-suk added, "Jihyo was like that even when I was shooting 'Anytime' with Sana. In the past, she would say 'Hello' energetically, but now she does it with ease by saying 'Yes, hello.'
Sana shared, "In the past, before shooting entertainment shows, I would check what questions were prepared for me by looking at the script and always think about when I would be going in." In response, Nayeon said, "I was nervous starting from the day before the shoot. It was the same until quite recently," and revealed that the famous three-line poem for Kim Jong-kook that garnered attention on 'Running Man' was planned with the members from the night before.
Sana particularly drew laughter by saying, "I was so nervous that I thought I should drink soju from the day before. Our company shouldn't do that, and it would hurt TWICE's image, so I thought I should drink it from a tumbler." Jeongyeon then expressed her nerves sitting next to Yoo Jae-suk, saying, "I'm still trembling. I get nervous when seniors talk to me. I'm so nervous."
