'I'm Solo' season 25's Young-cheol was subject to heavy editing in 'Nasol Saga' as season 19's Jeong-suk, who is a lifelong single, revealed that she had met him.
On 10th, following the final selection of 'Nasol Saga,' in a live broadcast of YouTube village chief entertainment, season 19 Jeong-suk said, "I couldn't mention it on the show. In fact, I chose (season 25 Young-cheol). We had a meal once. He reached out afterward, but I didn't go out."
On the 24th of last month, reports emerged that a man surnamed Park in his 30s, who appeared on 'I'm Solo,' was urgently arrested on charges of attempted rape. Park is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in a parking lot in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, around 3:30 a.m. on June 21. Police have applied for an arrest warrant after urgently detaining Park, and he has since been transferred for prosecution on charges of attempted rape.
Park was reported to have continued his broadcasting activities by appearing consecutively on entertainment programs 'I'm Solo' and 'I'm Solo, and the Love Continues' (hereafter referred to as 'Nasol Saga'), causing shock. Speculation arose that he might be season 25's Young-cheol due to being a member of 'I'm Solo' currently appearing on 'Nasol Saga' and sharing the surname Park.
In response, the production team at Village Chief Entertainment said, "We learned through news reports on the morning of the 24th about the court's issuance of an arrest warrant related to the crimes of participant Mr. Park," and stated they would edit him out entirely. As a result, Young-cheol's appearance has completely disappeared from broadcasts since the episode aired on the 26th of last month.
In a previous 'Nasol Saga' broadcast, season 25's Young-cheol had garnered interest from the popular contestant season 17's Ok-soon and lifelong single season 19's Jeong-suk. In reality, it appears that season 25's Young-cheol and season 19's Jeong-suk had a private meeting after filming. However, season 19's Jeong-suk clarified that they only had one meal together and expressed her gratitude to the production team for the heavy editing.
Meanwhile, 'Nasol Saga' airs every Thursday at 10:30 p.m.
