On the 11th, Kim Young-chul posted on his social media that he went to the emergency room around midnight on Thursday, saying, "The diagnosis was 'intestinal obstruction' and my intestines had temporarily stopped, so I needed to be hospitalized." He shared a hospital selfie.
He added, "I was really in pain, and I was lucky to have gone to the emergency room right away, even if it was the early morning. The nurses and doctors noted that there are quite a few emergency patients coming in with this condition. Be careful with your food in the summer, especially spicy and salty foods! I’ll make sure to greet everyone again healthily, especially all the spicy food lovers."

On Wednesday, I returned home almost without eating breakfast from SBS
Suddenly, I felt like eating both jjajangmyeon and instant noodles at the same time, so I ate them.
The jjajang was slightly spicy, and about 30 minutes later, my stomach started to hurt as if it were being scratched.
I took stomach medicine from the pharmacy and even napped, but there was no improvement,
and ultimately, around midnight, I went to the emergency room (Soonchunhyang University Hospital).
The diagnosis was 'intestinal obstruction'.
My intestines had temporarily stopped, so I needed to be hospitalized.
I’m feeling much better now, but
I can’t ignore the seafood (the food I ate in the last 48 hours) and spicy food being the culprits.
I was really in pain,
and I was lucky to have gone to the emergency room right away, even if it was the early morning.
The nurses and doctors noted that there are quite a few emergency patients coming in with this condition.
