Yoon Jung-soo "I'm getting married... but I haven't proposed yet?"
As comedian Yoon Jung-soo surprised everyone with his sudden marriage announcement, he caught eyes by revealing the honest reason for not having proposed yet.
In the MBC entertainment program "Save Me! Homes" that aired on the 10th, Yoon Jung-soo appeared with a meaningful expression and began, "I am about to settle my past and start anew." The studio was momentarily filled with tension, and Yoon Jung-soo soon shared the marriage news.
He introduced his fiancée by saying, "There is someone I am seriously dating with the premise of marriage. She is a Pilates instructor who has both beauty and intelligence, and she works in the sports industry." He continued, "We became close about 4 to 5 months ago and have been cautiously meeting based on trust," adding, "I recently received her parents' permission to marry."
When Yang Se-chan asked, "Is the marriage really confirmed?" Yoon Jung-soo replied, "If the conditions allow, I plan to hold the ceremony by the end of this year. We have also completed meetings between both families," indicating that preparations for the wedding are well underway.
Regarding their first meeting, he explained, "Actually, we first got to know each other about 10 years ago. At that time, we didn't have a special connection, but we naturally grew closer over dinners about 6 to 7 months ago." Notably, it caught attention that his fiancée is 12 years younger than Yoon Jung-soo, being of the same zodiac year.
However, he has not actually proposed yet. He honestly confessed, "I don't know how. I'm contemplating how to do it," eliciting laughter from the participants. Additionally, when asked about the "physical progress," he responded with his characteristic bright smile, saying, "Since we have talked about marriage, we obviously held hands. We also kissed," which made the scene lively again.
Yoon Jung-soo, who once experienced bankruptcy and divorce, is receiving much support and applause as he opens a new chapter in his life.
