G-Dragon's team announced on the 11th through official V Live and Fan Plus One that the world tour concert scheduled for the 2nd of next month in Bangkok, Thailand, was canceled.
G-Dragon's team stated, "We sincerely regret that the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch] IN BANGKOK,' scheduled for August 2nd, has been canceled due to unexpected circumstances."
They added, "We are well aware of how much many of you were looking forward to this concert, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this has caused," and expressed gratitude to the fans in Thailand, saying, "We hope to see you again soon."
After G-Dragon's team suddenly announced the cancellation of the Bangkok concert on March 3rd, which had been progressing successfully from Goyang's comprehensive stadium, local fans expressed disappointment. The agency Galaxy Corporation stated in a press release that afternoon, "The cancellation of this concert was a measure taken due to the exceptional and record-breaking heatwave, leading to a situation where patients suffering from heatstroke continued, considering the characteristics of the outdoor venue, Rajamangala National Stadium," reiterating that it was a decision made with the health and safety of fans as the top priority.
They also urged, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and we ask for your understanding that all decisions are made with your safety as the top priority."
