The fantasy action hero series 'Twelve,' starring actor Ma Dong-seok, has announced the birth of a Korean-style hero.
On the 10th, the team behind the new series 'Twelve' (directed by Kang Dae-kyu and Han Yoon-sun) released a teaser trailer.
'Twelve' is a series inspired by the 12 guardian deities of Tongyang, featuring twelve angels who live among humans to protect them as they battle against an evil force.
The released trailer begins with the powerful appearance of the leader of the twelve angels, 'Taesan' (Ma Dong-seok). The twelve angels, who have lived in human forms to protect humanity since the beginning, managed to close the dark gateway of hell after a battle with an evil force that sought to envelop the world in darkness, but they lost four of their own in the fight, and their special abilities were sealed.
'Taesan' and the seven angels quietly live in the human world, bearing the emotional scars of losing companions like family. However, the overwhelming power of 'Ogui' (Park Hyung-sik), who sided with evil, begins to emerge as the priest 'Samin' (Kim Chan-hyung) awakens him, reigniting the forces of evil in the world. The return of the being awakened after thousands of years causes an immediate chilling tension.
The priest 'Samin' who awakened 'Ogui' says, "I will turn the world into hell and make all humans into demons," predicting that the battle will begin anew. 'Taesan', who vowed never to intervene in human affairs again, along with 'Won-seung' (Seo In-guk), 'Mir' (Lee Joo-bin), 'Doni' (Ko Gyu-pil), 'Kang-ji' (Kang Mina), 'Jwi-dol' (Seong Yoo-bin), 'Mal-sook' (Ahn Ji-hye), and 'Bang-ul' (Regina Ray) all begin to doubt whether they can face 'Ogui.'
However, the administrator of the twelve angels, 'Malok' (Seong Dong-il), encourages 'Taesan' and the angels by saying, "The reason we exist is to help the human world." The teaser trailer captures a grand worldview and features joyful, exhilarating laughter suitable for the summer season, raising viewers' expectations even higher.
