Sixteen artists and producers from the HYBE music group are joining the Recording Academy® as members.
According to HYBE on the 9th (local time), the Recording Academy invited the group MAJOR, Zico, SEVENTEEN members Woozi and Vernon, TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun, ENHYPEN member Sunghoon, LE SSERAFIM member Heo Yunjin, producer Slow Rabbit, Supreme Boi, and Wonderkid as new voting members.
The Recording Academy is a historic music professional organization that represents the voices of individuals working in the music industry, including artists, songwriters, producers, and engineers.
Founded in 1957, it has been overseeing the Grammy Awards since 1959. Voting members can participate in selecting the Grammy Award winners. Voting rights for new members will be granted starting from the '68th Grammy Awards,' which will be held on Feb. 1 next year. They will also have the opportunity to participate in various events aimed at Recording Academy members and express their opinions.
