In 'Sayuri's Death Note,' broadcaster Sayuri shared her tumultuous childhood.
On the 10th, a video titled 'A 45-Year Summary of Sayuri's Silver Spoon Life feat. Mom and Dad Jen' was uploaded to Sayuri's YouTube channel 'Sayuri's Death Note.'
Sayuri had been absent without leave since middle school. Sayuri said, 'I didn't want to go to school when I was in middle school, so I pretended to go to school and secretly stayed home. There was an aunt at our house who was very close to me, so she would wake me up and hide me in the closet when my mom was coming back. When I got caught, I was really beaten badly,' sharing her carefree childhood.
Sayuri, who studied abroad in England during middle school, went on a school trip to Germany in high school. Sayuri mentioned that she took a pillow from a German hotel because she liked it so much. She later went to college in New York but said she was deeply hurt by her Korean boyfriend's ghosting. What comforted her during that time was her father's credit card and a trip to Hawaii.
Sayuri said, 'I dated a Korean boyfriend in New York, but he ran away. I cried every day, and my dad told me to go to Hawaii,' adding that the reason for her return was because of the huge credit card bill, surprising everyone.
