'Do You Know Home-Cooked Meals' Lee Jang-woo announced his upcoming marriage to Jo Hye-won in November, and stated that they have never fought during their relationship.
On the 9th, the first episode of MBN and MBC Every1's entertainment show 'Do You Know Home-Cooked Meals' depicts Lee Jang-woo and GOT7 BamBam visiting the house of a master of 'pla tu' (Thai mackerel) in Thailand.
The two served K-home-cooked meals to the master's family and relaxed while having an honest conversation.
Lee Jang-woo said, "Ah, you are 28 years old now," and BamBam responded, "There are 2 years left. The first digit will change to 3," adding, "But I don’t know why I want to get married so much now. I seriously think, 'Should I try marriage?' If I meet someone next time, I think I will consider them as a marriage partner, not just for dating. Is it too early at 28?"
Lee Jang-woo noted, "Thinking about marriage is good. Marriage requires guts. You know what I mean?" He confessed, "In the past, I thought marriage needed this and that, but I realized when I met a woman whose thoughts aligned with mine that 'I can live even without anything.'"
He added, "I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend for 8 years, and it almost feels like we are married. I still think it would be really great to get married."
BamBam asked, "Does it feel like getting married would make things even better after 8 years of dating?" Lee Jang-woo replied, "I have never fought with this woman in the 8 years I have known her," adding, "I used to be a fighter in my previous relationships. I fought a lot in my previous relationships. But interestingly, I have never fought with this woman. My life has changed a lot since I chose to get married. I have become very relaxed," expressing his affection.
