The 27th generation participant, Young-sik, shocked not only the participants but also the panel with his striking self-introduction.
The self-introductions of the participants began on the 9th airing of SBS's entertainment show 'I am Solo' (hereafter 'I am Solo'). From his first appearance, Young-sik captured attention with his cheerful and moderate speech along with a dialect from the Honam region, leaving Lee Yi-kyung and Defconn curious about his profession.
Young-sik noted, “I was born in 1990. There is a difference from those born in the 1980s,” humorously introducing himself. He mentioned, “I am developing the Yeonpyeong Port and other projects at the Incheon Marine Affairs and Fisheries Office,” adding, “Job transfers happen every 2 to 3 years. So, I would prefer a woman who is not burdened by only meeting on weekends. Therefore, I would like someone strong.”
Young-sik openly stated, “I prefer someone physically strong, and since I am a public servant, my salary is not high. I would like someone who is also financially strong.” It was known that being a public servant is a stable job yet underpaid. Defconn and Lee Yi-kyung were shocked, asking, “Are you talking about a woman who has a lot of money during your self-introduction?” Young-sik responded, “There is a high probability of being a weekend couple even after marriage. Also, I am physically fit. I will come on weekends,” boldly introducing the necessary long-distance relationship and marriage life.
