The assistants creating 'Our Movie' are solidly filling the drama.
In the SBS weekend drama 'Our Movie' (directed by Lee Jeong-heum, written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, produced by Studio S and Beyond J), as the filming of the movie 'White Love' progresses, the activities of Ji Cheol-min (portrayed by Heo Jeong-do), Jo Jin-mi (portrayed by Joo Min-kyung), Im Jun-byeong (portrayed by Lee Joo-seung), and Yu Hong (portrayed by Kim Eun-bi) are becoming more noticeable.
First, director Lee Je-ha (portrayed by Nam Goong-min) went out of his way to kindly ask for a favor from the highly skilled cinematographer Ji Cheol-min, who harmonizes the filming set through years of experience. He not only refines and discusses the scenes to be presented in the movie 'White Love' with Lee Je-ha but also takes care of his junior camera team members, demonstrating why he is considered top in the industry. While being a perfectionist with no room for error at work, he shows a generous side in love, creating an interesting contrast. Above all, when asked by Lee Je-ha about his understanding of love, he conveyed his own values sincerely, revealing his qualities as a romantic and enhancing his charm.
Moreover, the unusual atmosphere between director Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum (portrayed by Jeon Yeo-been) was noticed right from the start, highlighting Jo Jin-mi’s exceptional talent and keen intuition as the Deputy Minister of the makeup team. During the first meal gathering of 'White Love', Jo Jin-mi emphasized to the cinematographer Ji Cheol-min to ensure that personal issues among team members do not interfere with filming, drawing a strict line against office romances. However, as she increasingly gets involved with Ji Cheol-min, who has a completely different stance on love, a peculiar atmosphere begins to form. It raises curiosity whether changes might come to Jo Jin-mi's principle of staunchly opposing office romances.
Im Jun-byeong, who is working double shifts at the restaurant and as Lee Da-eum's manager due to the request of his longtime acquaintance Lee Je-ha, stands out with his uniquely gentle nature and likability. Despite being inexperienced in the manager role, he makes every effort for 'my actor' Lee Da-eum, adding warmth.
In particular, on the day he first reported to the set with Lee Da-eum, unable to contain his racing heart, he humorously overdoes his consumption of calming pills, making him a standout source of laughter. Moreover, being the younger brother who knows Lee Je-ha better than anyone, he does not hesitate to deliver sharp remarks about him, gaining support from the staff of 'White Love.' Meanwhile, he openly shows his affection for assistant director Yu Hong, adding an interesting twist.
With an impressive personality and straightforward work style, assistant director Yu Hong is demonstrating a powerful presence as Lee Je-ha's right-hand person. Equipped with extensive experience from participating in multiple box office hits and notable talent, Yu Hong is effectively coordinating filming schedules and managing staff, showcasing his capabilities across the production of 'White Love.' Additionally, he quickly grasps and responds to the instructions of the typically quiet Lee Je-ha, maintaining a lively and friendly demeanor with producers, representatives, and staff, even capturing the heart of Im Jun-byeong. Attention is now focused on Yu Hong’s unexpected reaction to receiving Cupid’s arrow.
Thus, Ji Cheol-min, Jo Jin-mi, Im Jun-byeong, and Yu Hong of 'White Love' are displaying their exceptional talents in their respective areas under the leadership of director Lee Je-ha. While there is curiosity about the outcome of a film brought together by an outstanding staff, there is also heightened anticipation for their intricate romantic lines.
The story of the staff of 'White Love' who are beginning to balance work and love will continue in episode 9 of the SBS weekend drama 'Our Movie' airing tomorrow (11th) at 9:50 p.m.
