'The recent men's life husband education' singer Koyote's Kim Jong-min appeared to slightly change his child-rearing plans while meeting with fathers of multiple children.
In the episode aired on the 9th, channel A's entertainment program 'The recent men's life husband education' (hereafter 'husband education') featured Kim Jong-min, who had just returned from a long honeymoon of over 20 days. He was exuding happiness with a shining face.
Moon Se-yoon asked, “Kim Jong-min's wife, Hiyung, is really organized, so there were reportedly 40 schedules in a day,” inquiring about his fulfilling honeymoon. Kim Jong-min revealed, “The accommodation is quite small, but it’s really expensive because of the view of the Eiffel Tower,” and shared a photo that showcased a view beautiful enough to evoke envy from Shim Jin-hwa.
Kim Jong-min also visited Switzerland. He noted, “My wife suggested we go paragliding. She said we could see Jungfrau in Switzerland,” adding, “I have acrophobia, so I couldn't do it,” and humorously stated that while he loves his wife, he doesn't do things he can't handle.
Moon Se-yoon asked, “Even though you didn't go on your honeymoon right after getting married, how is married life going?” Kim Jong-min, who married last April, had just gone on his honeymoon due to his busy schedule. He expressed, “Married life seems really good. Coming home to a dark house after work felt really lonely, but now my wife welcomes me. And every time I go out, she makes a heart on my face. I also do a heart with my face and cheeks,” boasting and receiving a light-hearted compliment from Lee Seung-cheol, who remarked, “You're already being a bit foolish.”
That day, Kim Jong-min met with Moon Se-yoon and Kim Dong-hyun, who are fathers of multiple children with three kids each. There was an abundance of love in their eyes. Kim Jong-min remarked, “I definitely want a daughter and a son. But I think having sons would be tough. Of course, it’s not entirely up to me,” he said. Kim Dong-hyun, who has one son and two daughters, laughed and said, “Even with just one son, it's tough.”
Kim Il-woo asked, “What do you hope your child will resemble?” Kim Jong-min replied, “I hope they inherit my easygoing personality first. I hope they resemble my face too. That would be interesting,” while adding, “If they take after my wife's face, they probably wouldn't look like me,” surprising everyone.
Kim Jong-min then dedicated time to training his body to prepare for having children. Moon Se-yoon joked, “Are you really going to be a dad with such poor stamina?” becoming a strict trainer, while Kim Dong-hyun encouraged him, “You can do it alone. Show your fatherly strength,” and had him attempt a leg press of over 200 kg.
Kim Jong-min asked, “Do the children have similar tastes?” inquiring about the experiences of having three kids. Kim Dong-hyun shared, “They are completely different. My first son eats a variety of foods but has a small appetite. My second daughter is completely a fan of Korean food. The third one eats everything well,” while Moon Se-yoon added, “All three of my children have conquered seafood. Just yesterday, I made sushi, and they ate it with fermented radish and flounder on top. When the young radish kimchi is fermented, my fifth-grade son asks, ‘Is it aged yet?’” expressing the adorable excitement of parenthood.
In response, Kim Jong-min texted his wife, saying, “Honey, should we start preparing for our baby?” expressing his hope that she becomes pregnant soon.
